Dr. Idler is a hand and upper extremity specialist and joined the Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group in 2009. From 1983 to 2008 he practiced at the Indiana Hand Center and has extensive experience in treating conditions affecting the elbow, wrist and hand. His specific interests include vascularized bone grafts, microsurgical tissue transfers, wound coverage problems for all extremities, wrist instability, and nerve injuries.
Dr. Idler has volunteered his time for many professional and community organizations including most recently as an associate editor for the Journal of Hand Surgery and a board member of Indianapolis’ public radio and television station. He relocated to Colorado to pursue his passion for skiing, cycling and kayaking.
